WeekSquire Terms of Use

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE — set when this page is published]

This page is not yet linked from an app store submission. Effective date will be set when WeekSquire is actually submitted for review.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using WeekSquire ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What WeekSquire does

WeekSquire helps you plan a week of tasks around your existing calendar using an AI-generated schedule proposal, which you review and confirm before it's written to your calendar. The app makes no guarantee that any specific task will fit in a given week — some tasks may not fit and will be returned to your backlog.

3. No account required

WeekSquire doesn't use user accounts. Your installation is identified anonymously on your device. Because there's no account, there's no password recovery or cross-device sync — your task backlog lives on the device you're using and is lost if you uninstall the app or wipe your device. Your subscription is not lost this way — see "Restore Purchases" below.

4. Subscriptions

  • WeekSquire Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, billed either monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase.
  • The yearly plan includes a 14-day free trial; the monthly plan does not and is billed immediately upon purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
  • You can cancel any time via your App Store or Google Play account settings — the app's Settings screen includes a direct link to manage your subscription there.
  • Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google; we never see or store your payment details.
  • If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use "Restore Purchases" to reconnect an active subscription — this looks up your entitlement via the app store, not an account with us.

5. What happens if your subscription lapses

If your Pro subscription ends (cancelled or payment failed), your data is never deleted. Any recurring tasks you set up remain visible in your backlog but stop being scheduled automatically — you'll need to resubscribe to reactivate them. Features like unlimited weekly tasks and midweek reshuffle become locked again, same as before you subscribed.

6. Free tier limits

The free tier includes a limited number of scheduled tasks per planning session and a limited number of AI scheduling calls per week. These limits exist to keep the service sustainable and may be adjusted from time to time; we'll reflect the current limits in the app itself rather than only here.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use WeekSquire to attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the scheduling service, or to submit content that is unlawful, harassing, or otherwise harmful. We may suspend access for accounts/devices that abuse the service.

8. AI-generated schedules

Schedules are generated by an AI model and are suggestions, not guarantees — always review a proposed schedule before confirming it. WeekSquire is not liable for missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, or any consequence of relying on an AI-generated plan without reviewing it.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

WeekSquire is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's described here.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vincent Demeulenaere (trading as Squire Builds) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium.
